“Defenders of ‘Naked Lunch’ Compare Burroughs to Authors of Classics.” Article by Joseph M. Harvey. Boston Globe, 13 January, 14. Report on the obscenity trial of William Burroughs in Suffolk County Superior Court, Boston. Beside Mailer, John Ciardi, Paul Hollander, Gabrielle Bernhard, Norman H. Holland, Dr. Stanley Eldred and Dr. John Barry Sturrock testified.
