“ As I said in The Spooky Art, probably the artist that had the greatest influence on me, more than any other writer, is Picasso, because of the way he had of going off in a new direction. He was telling us a secret, which was that style is a tool by which you explore reality. Given the reality you are trying to uncover, you have to find a new way to go at it. ”
