The fluoridation of water. I think the apparent irrationality of people on this can be explained only by the consonant theory. I am willing to bet that if an expression like Good-Water Plan had been used, there would have been far less resistance. It’s the word “fluoridation” itself which makes the difficulty. Using the crude equivalents I so far feel—the word psychically Anglo-Saxonized becomes: Fuck love o(cunt) rage I day (death of A which is X) shun.
