Japanese: Their word for yes is Hai. Pronounced HIGH. Their word for no is NAY, pronounced NIGH. Their other word here is EEEE-yuh. But I forget whether it’s yes or no. That is, I think it’s one, and then I think it’s the other. I can advance hypotheses for each. And quite rightly, given dialectics.
