Rojo and ojo. Red and Eye. Ire and Eye. Ire or Rage are the anger released at suddenly “seeing”. We actually say, I saw red. And “rage”—it is the red of age—our fury at how society makes us die. Only man sees death as death. Animals see death as danger. Except dogs. Dogs seem to understand death.
