Mailer graduates from Harvard on 27 May with a S.B. degree (with honors) in engineering sciences; the majority of his electives are English writing courses. After a visit to Provincetown, MA, with Bea after graduation, he goes to his parents’ apartment at 102 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn where they moved that spring.
