If you are booking a flight to Georgia, it is recommended that you fly into Atlanta (ATL). Macon does have a small airport (MCN), though it has limited service.

From Atlanta, you may either rent a car to travel to Macon (a distance of about 80 miles), or you can take the convenient Groome shuttle straight from the airport to Macon. The shuttle takes approximately 90 minutes, and costs $41 for a one-way ticket, or $82 for round trip. Please note that tickets for the shuttle need to be booked in advance. From the shuttle drop off point, it is a quick Uber/Lyft/taxi ride to the Marriott.
