  • 2021-10-01: Bucks County resident Lawrence Schiller discusses making a career out of capturing history.
  • 2021-09-21: Augustus Bayard in “The GOP’s heart is no longer orderly nor conservative” uses Mailer’s description of Republicans in Miami and the Siege of Chicago to diss current Republicans. Yes, they're worse now. What’s not to like?
  • 2021-09-15: “‘The Bureau’ Creator Éric Rochant To Showrun Mark Gordon Pictures’ Series Adaptation Of Norman Mailer’s ‘Harlot’s Ghost’.” The Grey’s Anatomy and The Rookie producer has attached The Bureau creator Éric Rochant to serve as showrunner on the drama project, which is in development at the company. Exec producing alongside Rochant, are Mark Gordon and Bonnie-Chance Roberts. Mailer’s sons, Michael Mailer and John Buffalo Mailer, will serve as consulting producers. Well, this is exciting news.

  • 2021-08-23: The Norman Mailer Center is ceasing activities. Norman Mailer’s library and the contents of his writer’s study formerly in the center’s possession have been transferred to the E.S. Farley Library at Wilkes University. For further information, contact Suzanna Calev, University Archivist. suzanna.calev@wilkes.edu. Wilkes is also the sponsor of the Norris Church Mailer Writing Scholarship. Established by Norman Mailer and friends in 2005, it is awarded annually to a student in the Maslow Family Graduate Creative Writing Program at Wilkes.
