My name is Patty Lowery. I am an ITEC major, specializing in digital media. I am due to graduate in December. Despite everything I have been through and am currently going through, I do not give up, I get more determined. I am a good asset to a company because when I get a job, even if I eventually do not like it anymore, I stick with it. I worked my last job for 15 years. I love animals. I have a cat that is aptly named Garfield and a rabbit that was born with one ear (which is partly why I chose her). My daughter has a dog. My animal's helped me get through Chemo and Radiation just like my daughter and her dog survived a car accident together when her puppy was around 2 months old, so they are inseparable. My husband constantly jokes that my dream house would be in the middle of the Bronx Zoo.

I am hoping to get a job at Microsoft when I graduate. That has been my dream since I was introduced to my first computer. I have read that Microsoft is an awesome company to work for. Not only is the pay great, but the benefits are too. They have stock options, 401K, medical, dental, and much more. They have intern, part time, and full time positions. I would love to start out as an intern to learn as much as I possibly can. Although I do not have any work experience in my chosen field yet, I still believe I would be a valuable asset to the company.
