Welcome to Project Mailer, the Digital Humanities initiative of the Norman Mailer Society.
This website serves as a hub for the digital endeavors of the Norman Mailer Society. It features an overview of projects — both analog and digital — undertaken by the Society's members.
Featured
- Norman Mailer: Works and Days is our premiere digital project based on the book by J. Michael Lennon and Donna Pedro Lennon.
- The Mailer Review features full-text articles from the official journal of the Norman Mailer Society.
- The Structured Vision of Norman Mailer by Barry H. Leeds is our latest digital book.
- A collection of full-text introductions, prefaces, and forewords by Norman Mailer.
- Coming soon: Lipton’s Journal: Mailer’s experimental journal from the late-50’s, edited by J. Michael Lennon and Susan Mailer.
What’s New
- 02/03/19: Our first digital book, Barry H. Leeds’ 1969 study The Structured Vision of Norman Mailer has just been published to the site. It features the complete text of the book, including bibliography and dust jacket notes.
- 11/29/18: Works and Days is currently being moved over to the wiki, so much will not be available for a little while. You could always purchase a copy of the newly-published, updated version. Also available on Amazon.
