Shannon L. Zinck received her B.A. in English from Duke University, where she graduated with Honors in 1997. She went on to receive her M.A. in English from the University of Virginia in 1999, concentrating on twentieth-century British literature, with special attention to Irish colonial and postcolonial scholarship.
