Mark Olshaker is an Emmy winning documentary filmmaker and author of thirteen nonfiction books and five novels, including Einstein’s Brain and The Edge. His books with former FBI Special Agent John Douglas, beginning with Mindhunter (basis for the Netflix series), have sold millions of copies worldwide. Deadliest Enemy: Our War Against Killer Germs, with Dr. Michael Osterholm, was published in 2017 and they are currently writing a book about pandemic preparedness. Olshaker is past president of the Norman Mailer Society and a life member of the Writers Guild of America. He was a contributor to Norman Mailer in Context.
