Daniel Barshay worked as writer in alternative papers such as The Rag, Seed and The Realist. After a career in broadcasting, he lectured at hundreds of school and college settings across the US. Scripting for drama (I Walt Whitman) and film (MOVE: Confrontation in Philadelphia), he is best known as the actor who played the Good Gray Poet in his “Walt Whitman Trilogy” as presented on major stages. The year 2018 will see “COINAGE” launched—a book of new phrases and words of the postwar years presented and described in a fresh format.
