Lipton’s Journal/February 14, 1955/618
One thing to say about L-2 in general and especially today. I am less manic, less mystical, less enthusiastic, and more contemplative, more rational, more sad. On L I feel I know everything and everything is wonderful. L-1 is the day of great sensitivity. My entering faculties are very wide, constricted just enough to permit a little order in the general onrush. L-2 is the sad but productive return to society. Tomorrow, I’ll probably be depressed.
