Super. To sup and to er. To be er at a higher level of supping. Super-ego. And I thought that S could be called the sup. But we eat in order to deny the er, and yet we must eat. So we are bound to earth and dream of being supermen where what we eat, what we sup upon is immediately converted into making higher er.
