David Anshen is an Assistant Professor of Literatures and Cultural Studies at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He has written on Norman Mailer, Marxism, and Film. His essay on Norman Mailer and Jean Malaquais in included in the upcoming anthology Writers in Context: Norman Mailer published by Cambridge University Press. He is working on a monograph focusing on the politics of Norman Mailer.
