He is currently contemplating writing a cookbook that features his 35 year quest to find the perfect fried apple pie. He has 5 huskies and spends a lot of time helping stray dogs find homes.

Josef Vice

Josef Vice (1962-) is an American teacher, course designer, student of Professional Communication at Middle Georgia State University, and dog lover.

Childhood and Education

Josef Vice, user JVbird, was born in Wellington, Alabama in 1962, on the day William Faulkner died. He earned his B.S. in Education, B.A. in English, and M.A. in English at Jacksonville State University. He completed coursework for a PhD in Modern British poetry and Rhetoric and Composition at Auburn University. He also studied Shakespeare at The University of Birmingham, England. He is currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate program in Professional Communication and Digital Communication at Middle Georgia State University.
