William T. Ross is former Chair and Professor Emeritus of English at the University of South Florida. In addition to a number of articles on rhetoric and the discursive prose of George Orwell and Bertrand Russell, he is the author of books on the American poet Weldon Kees and the historical works of H. G. Wells.
