Susan Mailer is Norman Mailer’s first born. She is a psychoanalyst and member of the Psychoanalytic Association of Santiago, Chile, where she has her private practice, teaches and supervises. Her work has been published in several Latin American Journals, as well as in ''Psychoanalytic Dialogues'' in 2017. In 2013 she was invited to be the keynote speaker at the annual [[NMS|Norman Mailer Society]] Conference.  Since then she has actively participated as a Board member of the Society. Her presentations can be read in the ''Mailer Review''. Her recently finished memoir, ''In Another Place with and without My Father Norman Mailer'', published by Northampton House Press is due to be out by the end of 2019.
