Norman Kingsley Mailer (Nachum Melech) born in Long Branch, NJ, on 31 January. Mailer's parents live with Fan's family in Long Branch, at first on Morris Ave., and then in "Kingsley Court", a cluster of three large beach "cottages" at Beach and Ocean Avenues, owned by Fan's parents, and named after Norman.
