“Mailer Obsessed.” Article-interview by Wil Haygood. Boston Globe, 2 May, 59, 68. Mailer says that he is “75 percent sure” that Oswald killed J.F.K. Haygood attempts, unconvincingly, to link Mailer and Oswald: “Both were dreamers. Both were U.S. Marines who felt unappreciated in the Marines.” Mailer was in the U.S. Army.
