Template:Source in source

{{{author}}}, "{{{title}}}", in [[#CITEREF{{{editor}}}{{{year}}}|{{{editor}}}, {{{year}}}]], p. {{{page}}}.

Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

Purpose

This template can be used to provide a short citation to a source within a larger edited work, and link to the full description of the larger edited work elsewhere on the page. The entry of the larger edited work should include |ref=harv so that the link that this template produces will work.

Usage

Vertical layout
{{source in source
| author     =
| title      =
| editor     =
| year       =
| page       =
}}
Horizontal layout
{{source in source |author= |title= |editor= |year= |page= }}

In the references section (or in an earlier footnote):

{{cite book or cite journal, etc | ref=harv | ... other appropriate parameters ... }}

or

{{citation | ... other appropriate parameters ... }} (|ref=harv is not required when using {{Citation}})
