Stephen Eric Berry is a writer, filmmaker, translator, and a recipient of a Jule and Avery Hopwood Award at the University of Michigan. His work has recently appeared or is forthcoming in Puerto del Sol, Sukoon, Tampa Review, World Literature Today, Asymptote, and elsewhere. In the summer of 2018, his film “Clogged Only with Music, Like the Wheels of Birds,” was screened at the Emily Dickinson International Society annual meeting in Amherst. In January of 2020, he will be speaking at the MLA Convention in Seattle on translating Dickinson into Italian. He lives in Chelsea, Michigan.
