Matthew S. Hinton (MA, MFA) was born in the back seat of his great grandmother's taxi in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He is a playwright and poet, and served as a researcher to J. Michael Lennon for Norman Mailer: A Double Life. His essay on getting a tattoo of Norman Mailer has appeared in Provincetown Arts and The Mailer Review, and his chapter on Mailer's "Friendships and Feuds" will appear in the forthcoming Norman Mailer in Context. When he isn't teaching writing and literature at Misericordia University, his scent can be found in several theatres in the northeast. He dreams in analog.
