A graduate of New York University’s M.F.A. program in Creative Writing, Marty is currently at work on her first novel, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;The Art of Money Getting&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. The tale follows four generations of arsonists and other fiery characters in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and it spans from the days of P.T. Barnum to 1986, the year the space shuttle Challenger explodes. Marty has lived in New York City’s East Village with conceptual artist Kate Conroy for almost twenty years.&lt;br /&gt;
