He has published in &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Cinema Journal&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Film Criticism&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Framework&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;International Journal of Žižek Studies&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, and numerous anthologies, including articles on Tod Browning, Edgar G. Ulmer, George Romero, Billy Wilder’s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Double Indemnity&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, Michael Haneke’s &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Caché&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, and Stanley Kubrick’s films noirs. He is interested in lo-fi and punk representation in relation to the psychodynamics of failure, and is currently developing a book project entitled “Lack and Losslessness: Toward a Lacanian Aesthetics.”&lt;br /&gt;
