Excerpt from novel of same name ([[91.26]]). Illustrated by Philip Burke and John Collier. Rpt: Appearing three months before the novel, this excerpt (first of three in &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Rolling Stone&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) deals with Hubbard’s exploits with Dix Butler in the bars and brothels of Berlin; it is taken with very minor changes (the excision of some CIA code names) from “The Alpha” Manuscript,” part 2, “Berlin,” most of chapter 3 and all of chapter 7.&lt;br /&gt;
