Rpt: [[63.37]], where [[Norman Mailer|Mailer]] notes in “Appendix B—Projects and Places” that the letter was submitted to and rejected by &#039;&#039;New York Times&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;New York Herald Tribune&#039;&#039; and &#039;&#039;New York Post&#039;&#039;. He also notes that the Castro letter was finished in November 1960 and the J.F.K. letter in April 1961; &#039;&#039;Journal for the Protection of All Beings&#039;&#039;, no. 1, the “Love-Shot Issue.” Published “irregularly” by City Lights Books, San Francisco.
