“Author Speaks to UT about American Errors.” Article-interview by Carolyn Park. Daily Beacon (University of Tennessee, Knoxville), 8 April. Internet. Report of Mailer’s 6 September speech at the University Center. His theme, again, was spiritual ecology, here focused on modern architecture’s tendency to make all buildings “look the same no matter where you go.” He also criticized U.S. involvement in Kosovo, saying using air power made the U.S. seem like “a bully.”
